8 mile vacation

This weekend my parents decided to take us somewhere a little different. There is this place next to Greek Peak called Hope Lake Lodge, and it is a resort with an indoor waterpark, a spa, outdoor pools heated to use in the winter too, bike and hiking trails, lots of activities for kids and of course a nice man made lake not even visible from hotel. So we decided to try it out. The room was great, it had an upstairs and a fireplace with wood that didn't burn, a little kitchen with everything you could need in it, bunk beds, two bathrooms a little table, and a nice view of a hill next to the parking lot :P Here are some pictures of the room.

And yes this whole room was practically made out of nothing but wood. But it was very eco friendly! They actually had recycling cans in every room and next to every elevator! I extremely impressed.

Now for the waterpark. It was pretty fun the first time but it got old really quickly. There were only 5 slides that were suitable for me. Two of them were really fast but really short which got really annoying, two of them were for people under 150 pounds and as you can imagine was pretty short and unexciting. The one was. One was "out of order". And the last one was for babies and nothing said i couldn't go down it, so being me i thought what the heck, let's try it. Another thing they had was a wave pool. It was ok but the water was really cold and the waves were not that big. Then there was the hot tub and the outdoor heated pool which was not that heated. Here is a picture of some of the slides. The blue one on the right is the baby one :P the yellow and red ones are the under 150 pound ones. You can't see the big ones because they go outside of the building which seems pretty cool but you can't tell it's outside. I guess not even in the winter!

Oh and here's what the entrance to the pool and the hot tub outside looked like.

And that's the story of our 8 mile trip :)

ok so uhh i sort of wrote this song......annd.....i know it has nothing to do with nature but sophie liked it, and since no one really looks at my blog anyway......i wondered if the people who did, wanted to hear it.....it's sort of embarrassing though.....so DON'T MAKE FUN OF IT (if i actually do show it). just comment yes or no

oh and you won't be hearing the whole song, just the first 2 verses and the tune for the chorus with me humming the possible melody

Seagulls

Yes, I've decided to devote this entire post to seagulls. This weekend I went to the Skaneateles (i don't think that's how you spell it) country club to have dinner, and since there is so much delicious food everywhere, the seagulls are everywhere too. So since i had the camera and was completely bored, i got some pictures of the seagulls.

There. Now i have to think of names.... POST ANY GOOD IDEAS

LOST

Hey everyone, my camera seems to be missing at the moment, and no one in my family can seem to remember where they last saw it. My grandma is checking her house as we speak, so hopefully it's there. Sorry there haven't been a lot of pictures!!
