Summer pictures

This summer I want to take the time to find lots of thing to take pictures of. I have created a goal for myself to post at least 6 pictures of anything at least every 2 weeks. Sometimes I will post pictures 1 week from the starting date, but 2 weeks is the maximum amount of time I have. If i forget, send me an email to remind me. The day I will start and stop will be on sundays. So here are some pictures I took this week. It's nothing very exciting but I like the caterpillar one.

By the way if anyone is confused, I actually do put nature pictures I've taken on this blog. Not just a bunch of pictures of old cameras. For proof, refer to past posts. The oldest ones have some of the better pictures.

Ok guys, my goal is to get 30 followers and I'm only 5 people away! So spread the word.

My Collection

Today I decided I wanted to start an old camera collection. Turns out, so did my great grandpa. My dad had collected a bunch of stuff from him like coins, books, and cameras. Unfortunately, most of them are polaroid and that film is sort of expensive. It's ok though cause I like the first camera I found the best, and that doesn't use polaroid film. So I have taken pictures of all the cameras to show you, and I also took pictures of the pictures I got developed from the first camera.

Unfortunately, this camera isn't as awesome as I had hoped :( I developed the first roll of film and as I expected, it turned out this weird shade of green, and not all the pictures could be developed because it was the film I found in there and was probably pretty old. But then I went to get the newer film developed and only 2 pictures came out!! I was so mad! They looked awesome too. They're very vintage looking. If I ever get it fixed I'll let you know.

GUESS. WHAT.

So I was at my grandma's house today, and while curiously searching the closets for cool stuff, i found this really awesome old Asahi Pentax camera!! Hopefully I will get to keep it. I have taken pictures of it to show you, and tomorrow when I get my first role of film developed, I will figure out some way to show you those pics too. So here are pictures of the cases, the camera, the extra lense, and my first role of film that I successfully removed all by myself :)

Since uploading the sky pictures didn't work out too well, I've decided to start my blog up again with some assorted pictures I have taken at different times in different places. One of these days I'll look for more places to take pictures around my house. When I look quickly, I always end up taking pictures of the same weeds or whatever that I always do. I am also thinking of putting some of my best photos in one post so I can A. clean out my picture files on my computer and B. have some good pictures in the more recent posts too.

Those pictures down there are of a rope. I thought it might look cool close up with the knots and snow etc.. So tell me what you think.
